Why your next MRO is in the Arizona desert

The demand for air travel today is still expanding, with airlines averaging 85 percent passenger loads or more. To meet this increased need for seats and supported by low oil prices, older aircraft are flying longer – and profitably. Many airlines are pulling aircraft out of storage, and depending on their condition, these require regeneration and upgrades prior to reentering revenue service. In North America alone engine maintenance is expected to account for over $70 billion during the next ten years. Now the questions facing airlines, operators, and possibly you are: Who do I trust to execute this work and where do I get it done?

AerSale® is a single-source, vertically integrated solution of aviation MRO products and services – from an airplane’s first cycle to recycle, installing everything from winglets to Wi-Fi. If you operate commercial aircraft anywhere in North America, Goodyear, Arizona, is a place you should know - especially as you anticipate or require the need for aviation MRO services. Here are several reasons why AerSale’s Goodyear facility should be included in your next airplane maintenance or modification RFP.

LocationNew call-to-action

Acquired from AeroTurbine in January 2017, the AerSale Goodyear facility is ideally located in a low altitude, dry desert climate conducive to long-term aircraft storage. The general aviation Phoenix Goodyear airport is a major maintenance hub for many foreign and domestic airlines located not far from downtown Phoenix.

Extensive Certification

AerSale’s Goodyear facility is one of the few domestic MRO stations with a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Class 4 rating that permits unlimited maintenance and overhaul of large transport category aircraft.

AerSale has several different aviation authority and quality certifications, including: FAA, EASA, CAAC, CAA, Kenya, Island of Guernsey, Bermuda, AS 9100, AS 9100:2003, AS 9110B, ISO 9001:2008, the Aviation Suppliers Association, and Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association. These are all available for inspection on our website.

World-Class Facilities

AerSale's 40-acre Goodyear site includes 366,00 square feet of aircraft hangar space, paint facilities, workshops, offices, and storage for up to 150 aircraft. This adds significantly more capability to provide narrow and wide-body maintenance, avionics installations, interior modifications, cargo conversions, aircraft painting, dismantlement, and storage services. The 8,500-foot runway supports the biggest commercial and military aircraft in the world.

Capabilities and Services

AerSale is a global, single-source aviation MRO solution for any aircraft need, from first revenue flight to final storage and teardown. As airlines look increasingly to divest their non-core business in a responsible way that maintains their reputation, AerSale can help by freeing up their stranded capital and enabling a focus on revenue service or cargo transport.

AerSale provides everything from aircraft sales and leases to end-of-life solutions, maximizing value extraction through strategic integration of its products and services. These are several, but not all, of AerSale’s extensive in-house MRO capabilities at its Goodyear site:

Capabilities and facilities only perform as well as the employees who staff them – and AerSale has some of the best in the aircraft MRO business at its Goodyear site. AerSale has an exceptional employment rate of licensed, certified, and experienced aerospace mechanics who adhere only to the highest quality standards. When workloads require a temporary surge level of manpower, the company has mature contracts with highly experienced staffing agencies that concentrate in aircraft maintenance.
