From Initial Concept to Certification

We have brought to market proprietary systems such as AerSafe and AerTrak, which have been issued Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) for specific aircraft types from the FAA, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and the National Civil Aviation Agency of Brazil (ANAC). The STC for AerVision is currently in development, with FAA approval expected in Q3 2020.

Once conceptualized and developed, our Engineered Solutions are produced in partnership with third parties or through AerSale Parts Manufacturing, our full-service design, build, and installation aircraft modification and alteration facility.

AerSafe: A More Economical Option for FAA Part 121 Carriers to Meet FAA Fuel Tank Inerting Rule

AerSafe is one of the few FAA approved solutions to mitigate fuel tank ignition. This system is an effective, yet economical means to achieve compliance for passenger aircraft flying within or into the United States operating under FAR Part 121. AerSafe limits the amount of available oxygen that can ignite fuel vapors and prevents sparks from initiating an explosion.

Compare AerSafe to Nitrogen Generating Systems (NGS)

Unlike nitrogen generating systems, AerSafe does not use an Air Separator Module (ASM), whose membrane fibers are damaged by high levels of ozone, therefore requiring ongoing service.

AerTrak: A Cost-Effective ADS-B Out Solution

AerTrak is an FAA approved system to comply with the Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) Operations rule. Beginning in 2020, this new rule is a critical part of the Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen).

ADS-B provides enhanced navigational accuracy using precise tracking via global positioning satellite (GPS) signals. Reducing risk and improving safety, the technology increases navigational coverage, especially in remote areas beyond radar range. Additionally, ADS-B enables more direct flight plans, thereby saving time, costs, and reducing emissions.

AerVision: A Next Generation Enhanced Flight Vision Solution (EFVS)

Using the Universal Avionics’ ClearVisionTM system, AerVision is a complete Enhanced Flight Vision System (EFVS) solution providing head-up capability combined with enhanced vision (EVS) and synthetic 3D terrain display (SVS). The system enables operators to overcome extreme weather conditions and low visibility situations—both day and night. As part of the FAA's Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen) roadmap, AerVision aligns with FAR 91.176 and enables operators to perform a full landing procedure with no natural vision, where the reported visibility is below approach minimums. The system offers unmatched capabilities, providing dispatch and landing approach priority as well as Low Visibility Landing regardless of the destination airport's infrastructure.
