Coral Gables, FL; Thursday, October 22, 2009 – AerSale, Inc. announced today the appointment of industry veterans Robert J. Lamond and Ronald D. Wolf as Vice Presidents. Lamond has previously held senior positions with AeroTurbine and most recently Kellstrom Industries, where he was the Senior Sales Director – Commercial Engines. Wolf has previously held senior positions with AAR, AeroTurbine, and most recently Volvo Aero Services, where he was the Vice President of Quality.

“We are excited to have Bob Lamond spearheading both the acquisition and supply-chain distribution of our aftermarket aircraft engines and their component parts”, stated AerSale Chief Operating Officer Robert B. Nichols. “Few know the engine parts business as well as Bob, and his commitment to customer satisfaction is second to none.”

Ron Wolf’s role with the company will include quality assurance and facilities operations. “As we grow AerSale going forward, Ron’s invaluable experience will be instrumental in implementing the systems, procedures, and quality control measures necessary to operate a world class aftermarket airframe and engine parts organization”, added Nichols.

Bob and Ron are tenured aviation professionals having the culture we will create at AerSale and this will help us accelerate the growth of the company. Its product offerings will include aircraft and engine leasing, trading, and aftermarket parts sales. The company’s business plan calls for the acquisition of over two billion Dollars of aviation assets during the next 5 years.

Finazzo and Nichols were the co-founders and sole shareholders of Miami, Florida-based AeroTurbine, a leading provider of aftermarket aircraft engines and parts. AeroTurbine was acquired by Amsterdam-based AerCap in April of 2006.
